Early 19th Century English Mahogany Breakfront Bookcase
A large and impressive early 19th century English two-part bookcase with a dentil-molded cornice above a pair of astragal-glazed doors with geometric diamond and hexagonal lattice glazing bars, the interior fitted with adjustable shelves on molded supports. The lower section with two paneled doors enclosing further shelving, all raised on bracket feet. The glazing bar joinery is finely worked with crisp molded profiles throughout. Retains original iron key.
