Mid 19th Century Classical Form Mahogany, Brass and Copper Peat Bucket
A beautifully proportioned mahogany peat bucket of classical hourglass form, the staved body with boxwood stringing rising from a molded circular base on ball feet. The removable copper liner retains its brass swing handle, and the top ring is crossbanded and strung to match the base. Circa 1860.
