A small oil landscape with a wooded, hilly scene and a misty river or stream in the middle distance. A figure is visible on the path, with warm rocky hills rising behind. The painting is housed in a heavily carved giltwood frame with scrolling acanthus and foliate corner cartouches. Circa 1770-1795.
